BMW Hollenstein in Aesch near Basel fully utilizes innovative technology. Completed in 2012, the operations centre uses only pioneering, sustainable infrastructure. The fully electric powered BMW models i3 and i8 are recharged at a special station prominently situated by the entrance. The electricity comes from a powerful solar energy plant located on the top of the roof. Any surplus electricity is fed back into the grid.

Little wonder, then, that only doors of usual design and construction were suitable for a building such as this. Again, innovation has found its way here too, enabling us to build one of Switzerland’s first record THERMCORD systems into the entrance porch.

Situated in the Graubünden mountains in the tranquil Arosa region, the Tschuggen Grand Hotel is one of the most prestigious five-star hotels in Switzerland. For guests resident in the 98 rooms and 32 exclusively designed suites, numerous employees labour round the clock to make their stay as pleasant as possible. The 6 restaurants, bars and lounges serve a wide range of culinary delights.

The spa and wellness zone sets standards that have not been matched anywhere else; a glass bridge connects the hotel with the world famous Tschuggen Bergoase spa: 5000 square metres of private paradise designed to ravish the senses and created by the famous architect Mario Botta. Opulent yet filigree sails made of glass and steel open up the spa’s deep corners to the sky and mountains, flooding the four levels with light and breathtaking panoramic views.

And as if that were not exclusive enough for the demanding clientele, the hotel's own Tschuggen Express, the only mountain railway in Switzerland with leather-covered bucket seats, transports residents to the heart of the Arosa-Lenzerheide ski and hiking area in less than two and a half minutes.

The Dolder Grand is a 5-star hotel located at Zurich-Hottingen; it used to be called the Dolder Grand Hotel, and has been located here since 1899. The original "Curhaus" dating back to 1899 also belonged to the luxury class of city spas. Located on the western slopes of the Adlisberg between the pulsating city and the invigorating countryside, it provides a magnificent view of the city of Zurich, the lake and the Alps.

The Dolder Grand features 176 luxurious rooms and suites, exquisite cuisine, a spa covering 4,000 square meters, spacious banqueting and conference rooms, as well as a valuable art collection.

The Law Courts building opened in 1977 and operated for more than 30 years without a Life Cycle program or any substantial upgrading. From 2005 to 2014 a comprehensive refurbishment program was undertaken, designed by a Group GSA + Hassell Architects. 

As part of the refurbishment to the ground floor foyer facade, 4 off record STA 20 automatic sliding doors, with frameless glass door wings were installed to the Philip and Macquarie Street entries.

2 off record FTA 20 bi-folding door operators were also installed as part of a secured exit lane system, allowing people to freely exit to the building, without allowing people to enter without using the metal detectors. 

Located in the heart of Sydney’s financial district, 259 George Street is an imposing establishment to the Sydney skyline, offering its tenants breathtaking views of the city and harbour.

At the top of this tower is the commercial offices of the building’s owner, Memocorp Australia, and as part of the full refurbishment of this office, record Automatic Doors was selected to install two C 127 infloor mounted automatic swing door operators to the main entry from the lift lobby.

In this application, the two operators are linked to allow them to open together from a signal from the card reader in the lift lobby, or push button in the office. Due to the design of the custom steel framed swing doors, one operator is required to open before, and close after, the other operator.

Capable of operating swing doors weighing up to 400kg, the record C 127 operator measures 780 x 270 x 150mm deep when encapculated within its special infloor housing which allows the flooring contractor to provide a custom access panel to match the surrounding timber finish. The end result is a striking dual automatic swing door system, providing a secure and accessible entrance for the building occupants.

This record FlipFlow WIDE extended is installed at Glasgow International Airport. The units can be operated singly and so not used when not needed. The FlipFlow system allows safe and secure passage of persons into or from areas where security is a priority and a controlled flow of people is required. 

Glasgow Caledonian University (informally GCU or Caledonian or Caley) is a public university  in Glasgow, Scotland. It was formed in 1993 by the merger of The Queen's College, Glasgow (founded in 1875) and Glasgow Polytechnic (founded in 1971). As of 2015 it is one of Scotland's largest universities with nearly 20,000 students. On 1 April 1993, the two institutions amalgamated to form Glasgow Caledonian University. The new university took its name from Caledonia, the poetic Latin name for present-day Scotland.

This entrance to the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford is fitted with a record K41 four wing revolving door. Revolving doors can also have larger diameters and curved sliding doors.  Larger models can have display cabinets internally. 

At this entrance to the serviced offices at 95 Queen Victoria Street, London, record uk  installed a C90 underground sliding door operator and revolving door. The all-glass facade and all-glass revolving door allows the ambient light from the inside reception area to create a modern yet inviting internal space. The record C90 underground operator is suitable for heavier and larger doors weighing up to 600kg.
